MQ-8C Fire Scout a Bell 407 modified with autonomous controls from MQ-8B drone.Weighs 2.7tons,1,000lb payload,can fly 24 hours and carry AGM-176 Griffin missiles,APKWS II guided 70mm rockets,and AGM-114 Hellfire missiles.1st flew Oct 2013 and 1st 2 currently involved in flight testing have surpassed 100 flight hours.Navy plans to operate 28 MQ-8Cs for naval special operations forces.One of those (188688) was seen on trailer moving northbound on Interstate 405 near Newport Beach, California.
